Not to mention there are just too many flanged connections, the less the better when it comes to mani's.Tinker, I like the cast idea, but perhaps you could do a nice one peice design that keeps the turbo in a more conventional location, it can be done, I know it for a fact.

it can be done, but not easily, or without grinding the block, or ordering a specific turbo. this was designed in this manner to be as trouble free as possible, and run ANY SIZED turbo you want. Flow and dyno numbers will be up w/in one week....

also, it wasnt really designed to be sold as JUST A MANIFOLD. There is a kit in the works, and the kit will fit in ALOT of cars more easily than running a mile of piping throughout the car(WAIC will be used).

Really? Do you think that is the best approach for a street car?To each his own but I'm just not feeling this one.

I think so. I reread what I wrote above, I want to stress that Im NOT upset or anything, just stating what Im thinking

the kit will be pretty much self-contained, very easy to install. no worries for a street setup.

Are you going to sell the manifold by itself, and if you do how hard is it to run FMIC charge pipes for it.

There are production plans for everything from Neons to 240sx's You D/H/F/K series guys will get your chance as soon as we get things rolling! And yes, there will be an AC manifold, along with a Hardcore manifold, for each engine(unless AC is easily achieved w/the hardcore manifold). Reguardless, each manifold will flow very identically, but the turbo placement will be the key difference.
FMIC piping wont be that much more difficult if youd rather go w/that route. Its basically the same as a drag IC setup, but with 13" longer of a turbo-IC section.
Yes JUST the manifold is f/s.

I think it's in production now.

http://www.lovefab.com/manifolds/sidewinder.html

A lot differant, and it's not anywhere near the sub $500 area, same price as the SST.

Aint that the truth! Im slow as molasis now too, because its ******* COLD up here!
We have our final electrical inspection in the new shop, then drywall the cieling, blow insulation in the attic, install the bay doors, and HELLO NEW SHOP! w00.

On the Cast SideWinders, my partner is freaking out about liability insurance. We have let a few out so far( VERY few), only because the buyers agreed to sign waivers. As soon as we get this figured out, they will be ready to sell to the masses.
Plus, we are shopping around at different foundrys across the country so that we can bring the lowest prices possible to everyone.

Heres what the finished products will look like!

Well, with the old foundry, $599. We are shopping around for better prices from other foundries, and so far it looks like we may be able to lower that a little bit.
