I'm taking a shot at replacing the seals on my t3/t4. Ive read a couple write ups but most of the write ups ive studied have had the dynamic seal on the back plate. Mine dosn't seem to have anything that looks like it, i just want to make sure its a carbon seal before i order the rebuild kit.

oh ****, duh... i guess if i would have read 'ej1 wilcox' thread more carefully i would have narrowed it down to mine being a dynamic seal. The piston ring looking thing. Great, thanks for your response wantboost.
