My car will not accelrate under heavy load or even medium loads. I have to baby the throttle for it to go anywhere and when I do try to get on it there is a really high pitched spooling sound (doubt its the turbo)

Anybody have any ideas as to what the prob. might be?

nevermind, found the problem

 

what was it ?

 

on my air filter there was a round metal piece in the center that got sucked out by the turbo and it was blocking the air flow and making wierd noises. I don't think it did any damage though.
