car started stalling when cold recently......
car was fine then 2 weeks ago i took it to get the valves adjusted, (car has 15,000 miles on it and the valves are noisy too much racing).... but anyway
after that the car started stalling when cold, im thinking its a coincodence...
but what could be causing this...
there are not CEL codes, except teh 2nd o2sensor (testpipe), i had honda just run a top end cleaner thru the motor, the car idles at 600-800 when warm and doenst stall then....
its only when totally cold in teh morning, i dont normally wait for it to warm up b4 drinving down the road, and when i take it out of gear it stalls.....
Im so frustrated already..
car has stock injectors, vafc, greddy blue box.... all which were in teh car for 3-5 months before.... no problems
we did these 2 things...
reset the ecu, and let it idle for 15min at operating temp to idle learn.
and run a top end cleaner thru the motor, and clean the gunk off the idle screw
car still stalls when totally cold...

You didnt by any chance do the stupid coolant bypass on the throttle body did you? This isnt a good thing to do...
Oh, also. I did a valve adjustment on my car and wasnt paying attention to the feeler gauges I was using. They had metric and standard sizes on the same gauge. I accidentally did the whole job the first time by looking at the standard sizing instead of the metric, or vice-versa I forget which. Anyways the setting I originally did (the wrong value) made the cams want to seize cause it was thinner than what it needed to be. Im a jackass I know
I would check to see if you might have done the same thing.
Or, sounds like it could be a kinked vacuum line, I know you simply removed the valve cover and theres no vacuum lines there, but who knows maybe another line got pinched somewhere.

wouldnt it be a problem when hot then? not cold?
cause to my understanding when the valves are too tight, and it warms up they would expand causing problems....

Interesting, my car is doing the same thing. I recently had a valve adjustment done also. But I also installed skunk 2 manifold and type r TB. Can this be related to the valve adjustment?
