Car Running Rich
OK here is the deal, my car is running really rich at idle and really rich at when crusing. By rich I mean mid 9s in the a/f ratio
This what I have
I am running a Turbo LS Motor in a 90 Si Hatch
I am running 450cc dsm injectors, I have tryed two differnet sets one set of injectors came from my perfect running dsm.
I have tryed turboedit, i thought this was the issue so now i am trying uberdata
ok after having the issue with both programs I am being to think it has to do with something else
Maybe the map sensor - i have hit 15 psi on a few boost spikes
or maybe the fpr
can anyone help me
Thanks
Richie

Re: (93turbo16)
i am sure i have a good map
i have tuned many cars
but i can't tune my own car
thats why i am thinking its a sensor or something else
besides the programs

Open your basemap back up. In the "boost" option of Uberdata, set the fuel efficiency to 110 insted of 120 and push apply. If you have closed loop enabled, disable it and see if that has any affect. The o2 sensor can sometimes play games w/ your head . Helping the enemy.........I guess I'm soft.......doubtful

Re: (hondaguyef)
Hmm. . .Mine runs pig rich too. . .
Except, it was tuned by Jeff Evans. . .
I was in the car when we did the patrial throttle tune, and it ran fine for like a few weeks or so, got good gas milage, not I get about 130 miles a tank, and my exhaust spits out black smoke at idle. . .
Think it's the 02 sensor?
or the dsm's (which were cleanded and balanced)

Something in your setup definatelly changed. The FPR may have gone south on you. Do you have a FP gauge?

I'm sure that's not the only reason.
