Car has been down for some time, now boosted & won't start
I'm just trying to get some ideas. I didn't stay around and play with it much today so it could be something minor or something I did wrong.
My car has been sitting for quite some time now (over a year)... I got it boosted and now it wont turn over. It will get spark & crank but it just won't turn over. I primed it about 5-8 times & then tried to turn it over. You could hear it wanting to turn over but it just wouldn't.
I put fresh oil in it, fresh gas and all that good stuff. I figured it would take a minute for the fresh gas to go through the system, I tried cranking it about 15 times, each time it would crank it would slowly get better as it was wanting to turn over but I just didn't want to get to excited with it and crank it 340697390457 times and possibly **** something up.
My battery was dead as a rock so I took the battery out of my friend's Integra & put it in mine. It seemed to work all my audio components just fine so I don't think that's the problem. He did say though that it wouldn't start his project EF but it starts his daily driven Integra just fine. Weird.
The car has a stock fuel pump, stock injectors & a stock P28 with a Boomslang OBD2 to OBD1 harness.
I know this is very vague, so start asking away and I will answer to the best of my ability.
Thanks.

Junk the ecu.
Put your obd2 one back in there and try it.
I'll put money on it being a bad chip of dead soldier.
Also, that boomslang harness brand new? I'll never buy a used one because the pins come out when they've been abused.
Your thermostat ground hooked up?

just turn the ignition to the on position ten times or so and wait till you hear the fuel pump prime then turn off and back on again, just to make sure the old gas is out of the lines. also if possible use the harness and ecu on a friends car to rule out either as a problem. also it couldnt hurt to put new plugs in it. you also might have to open the throttle a bit when cranking

Toss some NGK 7's in there.
And trust me. Shawn pulled my harness out my car and we went to plug it back up and my harness was FUBAR'd. Beezy is STILL repairing it.

did you use a test light to confirm that you are getting spark? pull the fuel line off and make sure gas is comming through. Also try testing your map sensor and knock sensors

Kind of a random question, but are your sensors hooked up correctly? i.e., MAP, IACV, etc.
Also, have you tried the stock ECU?
And lastly, stock fuel pump?

Stock ECU is sold because I know this P28 works.
Stock fuel pump was just to get it started. Walbro is in my room along with my clutch and all that good stuff that I'm going to install after I get it running.
Thanks Charles.

I thought about that, so I have one uploading right now on YouTube. I'll host it when its done. I have a friend over right now that works at Honda trying to mess with it. I'm clueless.

why does your motor jump around like that when your trying to start it maybe need new mounts. 1. check and verify that your getting fuel and spark. 2. make sure the map sensor and tps aren't mixed up. 3. check all of your fuses. 4. also check your distributor and timing.

Even if the map sensor wasnt plugged in it would start and just run shitty.
Change the plugs, make sure the fuel pump is priming.

With a friend's battery & I believe the same ECU and jumper harness or a friend's jumper harness & a JDM GSR ecu. I didn't even look at it at the time.
It's def. getting gas. Everytime I try to turn it over, that's all I smell. I'm checking spark tomorrow.
