Default capped off boost controller

I took everything turbo related off my car and there was a vacuum hose connected to my boost controller, I capped it off, what did it originally goto? There is a plastic piece with 2 other hoses connected to it which the boost controller hose branched off of. My car only stays on if it give it gas, so i suspect vacuum leak or fuel problem.

what boost controller? sounds like you are refering to the hose that runs to the in cabin unit to display the boost pressure. most likely it is tapped into the fpr vac line. you can remove the tee and just run a line from the fpr to the IM.

more detail and/or pictures would help

it comes from in the cabin, one hose runs to the map sensor, another to the IM and FPR and the other that is capped off went to the boost controller.

just remove that line to the boost controller all together. do you have an aftermarket map sensor? if so is the car tuned for it? i ask because a stock MAP doesnt have a vac line, its bolted directly to the IM.

On a stock Y8 you won't have any vaccum lines running into the cabin, and as stated the stock map sensor has no vacuum lines. If you have a chipped ECU, it may have a vacuum line going to it as well.

I have an aftermarket MAP, could that be the reason the car is stalling? I switched to my old turbo basemap but the car still wouldnt start so i figured it was a fuel problem.
