Cant pass 6k rpms!!!!
i recently wired in my 880's and 3 bar map sensor and my aem ems. and i cant pass 6k rpm, i go to about 5900 and then it starts sputtering and if i keep giving it gas it passed 6k but all messed up. i got the car tuned thinking it was probably the ems and it didnt fix the problem. any suggestions?? maybe i wired the 3bar or 880s wrong??
Is your tuner using a wideband O2 sensor? Because if it isn't, it probably can't tell the difference between 12:1 and 2:1. (Which would both return an identical voltage on a narrow-band O2 sensor)

yes i have vtec, and when i went to get the car tuned it will still do that but i thought it was something having to do with tuning but i guess i was wrong . so he just tuned up to that point
I had a simalar problem and it ended up being my chipped ecu... i cut the jummper on the ecu and it was all good, eventho i was now running the b16 off a p28 i still had vtec and all that...... just a thought.
Sounds like your tuner is a moron....How do people trust others to make there cars run good, I dont understand!?!?!?! I go to a dyno but all they do is run the machine, me and my friend make changes and we tune they stand there and look pretty and start the dyno to run it and hand us the sheets so we can see where to make changes.....
no, i installed them before he tuned it. this is what happened, i got a base map from the aem website for the 880s and the 3 bar. i went to install the injectors and the 3 bar and i put the ems in. the car turned on and ran good but it would cut off after about 5900 rpm. figured it was something to do with tuning or something so i took it to get it tuned and he said it wasnt the tuning. maybe a defective ems ???
