You first post "This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen" only to cross post it over here asking to "Shed some light on it". WHY?

Do you need a HID light to see the gleaming BS reflecting off this thing?

I'm just playing with ya'.....this Member here has one and can attest to its effectiveness [just take a look at his sig]

I know your joking, but to answer, couple of people gave it some creditation, and I just wanted to be sure I wasnt going nuts. I was second guessing myself.

600 cfm is an expression of air flow, not pressure.

flow is different then pressure. Take your mouth for example. If you were blowing air out of a straw, it'd be pretty easy to just go nuts on it and if you had no restrictions, you'd flow alot of air. Now imagine there's a kink in it, and only a small amount of air can escape through it. If you were to try flowing the same amount of air through it, you'll never do it 'cause there's no way your body could force that much air back out of your lungs. To flow that air, you'd need to be able to generate more force. The fan there is the same thing. It can flow alot of air, but when it has to start forcing air, it won't be able to generate enough torque. Why do you think superchargers rob so much power? ineficciency? It takes power to make power, and this fan doesen't have enough power to do that
