I dont know why they give you such a hard time. Ive personally blown up like 7 motors, and im currently on motor #9 in my car. 4 of them to rod bearing failure, 2 was too much boost with the afc hack, one because i blew a line to a map sensor.
Its all good - sohc are cheap!
I dont do as many stupid things with my current motor....RALLY LIAM @ 18psi of boost!!
hahahah

You will have to take it in to be looked at. Most places will cut the damaged part down and use only a small amount of the cylinder when they put in the new ones. You can't tell anything 100% from a pic.

Re: Can this motor be resleeved? (M.A.R.C.)
GE done a block from me and it was cracked almost completely down one of the cylinders so Im pretty sure they can save the block. I know they can resleeve blocks that have darton sleeve's in it. I have asked about that for another block of mine. Talk to TOM at camp1320 he has great deals through GE...

it's too much money to do it all again and i have some other priorities. if i decide to do it all again... i wanna do things right from the start anyway. so if i do build something again, i'll consider this starting from scratch.
