Can a low CR headgasket be re-used ?
Just as the title says... can those headgaskets that lower compression, be reuseed after it had been torqued down ? I can get one for free, and when I inspected it, I could not see any crimps in the lining, but it was quite dirty at the time...

yes, just replace the outer layers. the middle is still good.

i would get a new one.
Jinx, how would I go about replacing the upper and lower layers ? Any site/ tech articles or is it relatively simple ?
