Can i get your opinions on this and what you think? Turbo ?
K I messaged a local hondata place last night with the following queston. Here is what I asked and here is what he said back. Now is this a good deal? Let me know.
Here is what I sent him
<<<I'm getting ready to swap a b18c into my 93 honda civic coupe. I'm running a custom turbo setup that will run 12 psi of boost. That is all I'm planning on running at the time. How much for the hondata s200 with all the stuff im going to need to make sure this runs fine. Its just a rebuild b18c with all stock parts. It has 2.5 piping for the exhaust and the turbo piping. it is also running 255 lph fuel pump. Do you think i need to go with bigger injectors at all or will i be fine with stock injectors with the hondata? Also how much for the s200 with the setup im mentioning. If you think i need slightly bigger injectors (i didnt think i would) could you quote me a price on them as well. Thanks Also I was going to get this put on a dyno when i get done to see how much power im going to be making. Can we figure a price for that as well?>>>
Here is what he sent me
<<<Since your running over 10 psi boost, you will have to be dyno tuned. The baseline map programs we have only let us base under 10 psi. For dyno tuning, we charge $100 per hour if you buy the system from us. It should take 2-4 hour to tune. The s200 is $295. Boost option is $200. Any time you run over 10 psi, we recommend bigger injectors and a 3 bar MAP sensor. (Prices Below). The baseline map program is $65. Shipping is $35. (From Hondata to us and then to you. Hondata does not sent directly to the customers). If you have any questions or would like to order, please reply to this email. Here are your prices:
s200 $295
Boost option $200
Baseline $65
Shipping $35
3 bar MAP $90
440cc Injectors $359
Dyno tuning $200 ( minimum )
Total $1244>>>

unless u live near hondata how will u get it dynoed and tuned?
over 10psi u will need the 3 bar map sensor. and a device to control it. (hondata) (urberdata) or aem EMS, or Greddy Emanage and E-01. u can get nice dsm 450cc injectors for about 50 bucks check out DSMtrader.com. i think thats the site.
also hondata is expencive but is proven to work. im going to be useing urberdata which is basicly a tunable hondata for half the price. just need to know what your doing. personaly unless your going to run more than 12psi get the dsm 450cc injectors and a vafc and stick with 10psi. unless u have 1200 bucks laying around for 20 more hp. also the greddy Emanage and E-01 cost about 700 for the complete kit. u can do basicly everything hondata does but u can tune it with a display and any place with a dyno can tune it unlike honata.

then i would go with hondata becuase u have a local dealer that will know his stuff. in ohio i have no local dealer with a dyno so it would be pointless for me to get hondata because no one could tune it.
