Can anyone with a MSD BTM answer my question?
I was going to get a MSD BTM because I will be going turbo. I did a search and there were a lot of posts saying I should retard my timing anywhere from .25 to .75 per psi of boost. I was about to order the BTM, and it says its adjustable from 1 to 3 degree per pound of boost. But what I don't get is I read somewhere in the classified section, that it is adjustable to .25 degree per pound of boost. Which is it? Thanks.
Go to their site and look for your answers. If anything I'm sure they can answer your questions there. http://www.msdignition.com
if you look at the msd 6btm on msd's website, you'll see the number indicator starting at 0 then there's 1 to 3. so adjust your .25 - .75 between the 0 and 1.
I have the MSD 6 BTM.
You can adjust from 0 to 3 deg/lb and any number inbetween. It is fully adjustable via a potentiometer (****).

Thanks guys. I just saw their picture of the btm and i guess it is adjustable between 0 and 1, but the only reason i was confused was if you look on their site, this is what it says for 6BTM : "Supercharged or turbo engines will benefit from the 6BTM in more ways than one. Not only do the full energy sparks help burn the fuel mixture, it allows the driver to retard the ignition timing based on the amount of boost being produced by the supercharger. The timing is adjusted from a dash
