My friend runs pro 1's on his 2.0L gsr, making 700-800whp. So far I have not heard him say anyting bad about the cams.

Those Pro 2 cams have huge overlap and are designed solely for 12:1 or higher cr N/A setups. I find it surprising that you pick those over the Pro 1 cams, which really shine under mid-high boost levels. Call Skunk2 and ask for Brian. Tell him your setup and goals. He'll help you choose the perfect cam. It always pays to consult the experts.

From what I understand the Pro cams work best when achieving 600+whp and the turbo cams are best used with smaller turbo applications. Id go with the tuner series. I had an integra with the tuner1 loved em. I went with the tuner3s on my most recent build (ill post when its complete) and from what CFT and skunk2 has told me, it fits my setup best. If your setup is similar to mine Id lean towards the tuner. call CFT or Skunk2 and talk to them about yours specifically. hope this helps

BCrower Rods
ACL bearings
ARP studs
Skunk2 tuner3
S2 Pro springs and retainers
S2 Pro valves
S2 Pro cam gears

dont use the turbo cams, and as much as you can do it with gsr cams, i probably wouldnt use them either.

personal opinion is to use either the itr cams on perhaps the tuner series either 1s or 2s.

what are your power goals? what size turbo do you have? what intake manifold did you go with? i think we could use a little more info to help more

According to Brian at Skunk2, a turbo build running under around 15 lbs will see better effficiency with Tuner 1 cams. And a build achieving over 15 lbs will see better numbers with Pro 1 cams. This was referring to an H22 tho.

similar to what I was told by them also except he didnt use psi as a reference, he used horsepower. and my goals were 500+ and I was told the tuner3

also in addition to my other post Im running a victor x and a S2 74mm TB.
precision sc61 and fullrace intercooler.

The only real way to answer this question is to call your tuner or S2 (assuming you want to use there cams) and tell them your setup with your power goals and let them lean you towards your decision

rule of thumb is pro1 for gt35r + bigger turbos with non-log manifolds.

log manifolds should stick with stock cams. everything else should be fine with tuner 1s and the like.
