Stock, camshafts arent needed unless you are directly looking to tune the motor with the camshafts

stock camshafts are pretty good

well if u have the b16 cams use them since you're on a budget, if u have no cams at all, and just got the head, u can usually find some gsr cams fairly cheap they will net u a few more whp

ITR/CTR if your money is right.
GSR will work great and you can find them cheap. Actually if you look in my sig I have a set for sale that I swaped for itrs. Shoot me a PM if you want to work something out.

O Thanks for the info guys. I'm gonna go with the itr cams. Can i use the omnipower valves and springs with these cams and still boost around 15 psi?

what block are u using? i would look at a piston/rod upgrade before a valve/spring/retainer upgrade.

i sendond that too, a built head is nothing without a built block, i would much rather have a head go before my block that is for sure

i'm goin to be using a b18c1 block. I was gonna go with cp 9.0:1 pistons and eagle rods with a reblanced crank and darton sleeves.

built head, sleeved built block why only 15psi?

do you already have the block built, cos i wouldnt focus on the head untill the block is done.

head isnt as important as the block and if the block isnt done i would definitly focus on your block first

that would depend mostly on your manifold and turbo choice

I saw that full-race has a manifold that is a/c compatabile. It also said somthing about a 4 bolt flange for the downpipe, but most of the turbo i see have a 5 bolt flange. Which turbos are a/c compatabile?

GSR cams are good

CTR/ITR cams are good and you dont have to change rest of the valvetrain

if the head has no valvetrain at all i say dont put oem in, just build it. if u already have oem stick with that unless u plan to make over 400whp

O ok got ya. My main concern right now is the block. I gotta sleve it if i wanna make over 400 right? And i can still have a/c and p/s? Plus i don't understand the part about the 4 or 5 bolt downpipe flange.

how much power do u want to make. most likely the turbo youll get will have a 4 bolt flange. either way u can get a downpipe fabbed up for it no prolblem

I wanna make around 400-500 realiblty horsepower, and i've decided not to go with a/c or p/s.

Just get the GSR's then and save the extra 100-200$ for tuning. I see NO need for any ITR or CTR cams with your goals and setup. I make over 600 on GSR cams as have many, many others.
