I was wondering if i should get cam gears before i get on the dyno myself. I dont think i would buy the aem, i just dont like the idea of only 3 bolts being there to save my motor from blowing up. I would get something like a Skunk2 or hayame or something to that kind of quality

Skunk2 all theway! I have it, I love it, no problems!

The laser printed points are a bit off, but you should measure the exact zero/zero setting with an special tool, donßt know the name of this tool.

That sounds like a problem right there, if the laswer printed points are off.

I run Jun also, they will never slip and have best tolerance of any gear as they are not machined, they are remaned stock cam gears.

Endyn makes some damn fine cam gears IMO, I remember seeing them before they hit the market. I dont know about you, but I love the fact that it's multiple keyway for zeroing purposes. that means you can shave away for some extra compression. Then again, thats if you are NA. you may not wanna do that if you are FI, but still a damn fine design. I know Endyn probably pissed off AEM, Unorthodox and all the other cam gear manufacturer's. They built my engine, so I know firsthand, they rule.

how true. have you compared, for example, unorthodox racing camgears to AEM? the aem's are so shitty that they actually wiggle back and forth! i would never put that **** on my car.

HKS cam gears... they're high dollar, but they screw into STEEL, no aluminum, and I've seen them on 1100 HP supras, not having issues
