Camgear degrees..

Camgear degrees..
Generally speaking on a turbo B18C1 running 15-20 psi with standalone unit and tuned nicely, what degree of timing on the camgear are good to start out with. I know dyno would needed and it will but just some base numbers would be great. Any examples out there?

Re: Camgear degrees.. ([Evo]Hybrid)
Retarding the intake cam allows for dialing overlap out. Advancing the exhaust allows for better exhaust scavaging. I have mine dialed in at 2 degree retarded on the intake, and 2 degrees advanced on the exhaust. I picked up 15 more hp at the wheels with that adjustment alone. This is with a LS block though...but you can always just use my settings as a starting point.
