how is your valvetrain ? what kind of setup do you have ? tranny setup ?

you need to get all the variable in line before deciding on making the most power with your current setup. I am a big fan of maximizing your current setup before moving up, but depending on your setup, cam may not help you any if not at all....

depending on your turbo efficiency, gear setup(short, long), driveaxles (shorter, taller tires) and the efficiency of your turbo, you may not need a lift and duration aftermarket cams will give you. Find out where your setup makes power and try t maximize it there.

I am more than happy to talk more about it, list your current setup, with all the smart brain in this board, you're gonna get the best advise out of any sites...

good luck

i agree. I've seen 600+ cars still running stock gsr cams. I look at it, as a last resort to get a little more power when you have maxed out evertyhing else.

do the internal work, sleeves, pistons, etc... boost a little more, TUNE IT, and then, if you arne't happy, consider cams.

a set of cams is like 800 bucks... valve train, can be over a $1000. for 1800, you can have a hondata system, and sleeves.
