I have skunk2 cam gears on my greddy turboed prelude. when i had the car tuned with the hondata they didnt mess with the cam gears. The are both set at zero. Any of you guys running a turbo have your cam gears adjusted any particular way other that zero?? Just curious??

 

you have stock cams I would guess?

usually with cam gears you are shifting power to different parts of the power band. unless you arent making power at a certain rpm range. you might be able to just put your stock ones back on and call it a day

 

Only way to really find out the best cam gear settings is on a dyno. Generally, retarding shifts the powerband higher and advancing shifts it lower.
