Re: Which Cam Gears For Turbo? (JustBlaze.)
i'm currently rocking the STR/BDL cam gears so i give them a
great gains can be seen in a FI car with adjustable cam gears
i can't say anything about the Full-Race ones because i have never had one to personally look at, but if it's anything like the rest of their products, i'm sure it's top notch as well

Re: Which Cam Gears For Turbo? (LostSolVTEC)
What exactly is the point of adj cam gears?
I assume so you can control when the valves open/close, but on a turbo'd car you are most likely using some engine management where you can change ignition on the ECU so that would make cam gears unnecessary.
Am I correct? If not can someone elaborate?

For some great info on the topic and dyno tests showing the kind of power to be picked up on FI cars with cam gear adjustements please check this post by Jeff Evans. He did some great test on this topis

Good read. I wonder if gains would be possible on a SOHC since the Intake/Exhaust are on the same cam.

Cam gears allow u adjust CAM timing. the ems allow to change igniton timing. As stated above good power is found with cam gears on FI car. I personally gained almost 50whp from them just the other night

Re: Which Cam Gears For Turbo? (T4eg)
all depends on numerous things
ive seen a car make 50 whp on just adjusting cam gears.... and ive seen even high hp cars make absolutely no power gains by adjusting the cam gears...
