Cam gears Cofusion!!

Cam gears Cofusion!!
Guys, just got in some Crower Cam Gears. I noticed the Advance & Retard markings are the opposite from those of AEM. Crower gears have the advance on the left side of the sprocket and retard marking on the right side whereas AEM markings are Retard on Left side and advance on the right. What the hell is going on here??? Can someone please clarify this?

Re: Cam gears Cofusion!! (2FAST4U)
It depends if the R & A is on the outer or inner portion of the gear. If they are on the outer movable portion (part with teeth) R will be on the right and A on the left. If the R & A are on the inner portion (where the cam bolts up to), the R will be on the left and A on the right... My skunk2s are like the first, R & A are on the outer gear portion, R on the right and A on the left.....
