Calling It Quits ...
I just purchased the drag III kit from Import Parts this past Tuesday. Thanks Ben for the great price for the kit w/o the wastegate, gauges, fuel pump, missing link.. etc.. you know who this is now?? I smell 11's right around the corner! Damned.. that means I need a roll bar now...

Alex I dont think you need the missing link since you have Speed pro. If Im not mistaken you also have the intank Walbro which is all you need.

Re: Calling It Quits ... (Arturbo)
arturbo.. you are correct!!! I am calling it quits from JR, no grips.. great system for what it is as a base kit or 8-9 psi. Anymore than that and intake temps go out of this world. To be more exact after a 12 second ***** to the walls pass. The datalog shows intake temps go from 155-227. That's hotter than my coolant temps which stay anywhere from 160-178! Anyhow... I am hoping that I can get the turbo in and tunned before sept 8-9 so I can attend the nhra event in houston. My list of goodies now includes:
B18c1, drag3 turbo w/ tial wastegate (looking to boost 12-18 psi controlled via greddy profec b), RC 850cc injectors, Speed Pro stand alone engine management, je 9:1 pistons, eagle rods, total seal rings, str block guard, crower valve springs and retainers (crower cams and valves "under the bed" , MSD Ignition, 3"exhaust, Aeromotive fuel system including pump, filter, and regulator, -AN steel braided hoses for fuel, Quaife LSD, M/T slicks, and two EMPTY *** pockets... anybody want to sponsor me??
Any guesses as to what I am going to run??

Re: Calling It Quits ... (SEFI8LOxCivic)
Thanks for the reply... I was wondering what kind of intake air temps I would be expecting. I may not see below 100 considering its 110 outside but I hope not to see what I was seeing before!

Re: Calling It Quits ... (GSRev)
Did you see Sport Compact Car Alex. This guy had an Integra GSR with a plain DRAG3 kit, and DFI. He put down 491whp.
ON our racecar with it's 1.6L and Speed Pro... the Speed PRo "tuned itself" to 494whp at 24psi. You have the potential and the equipment to make a HELL OF A LOT of horsepower man.

Re: Calling It Quits ... (b18bturbo)
sounds intresting and almost unbelievable. Hell if I hit anywhere near 400 hp I don't know how the hell I could drive my car. I would have to relearn how to drive What is expected out of 18 psi though??? Remember, my block is built fine, but I don't have it sleeved so don't want to push my luck too much!
