well it says y7,y8. which means not all d-series. and it also says. what problem were they having and how did they solve it. find me a thread that matches that.

well there's not much difference in the setups (y8/y7 vs z6) honestly. searching will still help some.

No, every turbo setup is completely problem free. In fact it is more reliable than a stock motor
Seriously, it is too broad of a question. There are so many different setups, some more problem free than others. Why dont you tell us what EXACTLY ur going to run, and then we can give you SPECIFIC problems you might have with it.

Re: ++++++ CALLING ALL TURBOED D16Y7+Y8S +++++++ (BauleyCivic)
oh, i already have a set up with problems. greddy turbo kit,td04 19t,450cc, walbro fuel pump hp. im flooding out really bad. to much fuel pressure was the problem. i got a shitty b+m fpr and drilled a small hole in the stock fpr and managed to get the psi down to 39. but im still flooding out. i put new plugs in idled for like ten mins. and alredy blackened the plugs. this is my only car and has been down for almost three months. my 450s r blue tip so there for there old. and the difference is that a y8 has a air injection tube. and i recall someone had put a check valve in but that doesnt seem right.

You need something to control the injectors I am assuming you haven't got a vafc to turn down the duty cycle, to idle the bigger then stock injectors. Honestly doing a bit of research will help you alot...
