call me a whiner, but I need to rant......
damn it, I am starting to hate my car, seeing how everyone that I know are leaving and going back to stock, somehow made me wonder if I should do the same.....
I am tired of everything not going right....
list of rants :
Check engine light, code 90 ( evap leak in the fuel tank or canister area, where the f*ck am I suppose to look for the damn leak ? )
codee 67, secondary O2 sensor, I can careless about this..
Code 23, knock sensor, I stripped one of the wire when I was rebuilding, now the wire came loose and I really really don't feel like repairing it...
Clutch chattering
bumpy *** ride
I put a set of camber kit, now my steering wheel is out of whack and turn 90 deg when it wants to on a flat road
Azenis, it screeches when I brake, , Does it really grabs that well ? it screeches as well when I am making a turn....my camber is normal, I checked it...
one of my NEW ball joint is torn AGAIN, WTF
I am begining to get tired of the fuel smell inside the cabin at a take off, related to the CEl coded 90 ?
RATLLES, SQUEEKS, MORE RATTLES...... FAWKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
Dumb *** welder, only weld in ONE tab on my IC, where the fawk was his head....fawking ricer.......now I have to go back and get the dumbass to ree-weld the tab
I did valve adjustment, my damn valves is still noisy....
Oil leaks, more oil leaks....
Boost less for about 7 months now...
BROKE, down by 12K in the last 4 months
Not having a time to spend with family, I have been back in LA for 5 months now and hadn't spent a single quality time with my family....
my back is hurting like crazy..
I am really really considering of just put the bitch back to stock height, stock rims, stock front end, stock motor and just have money again, peace of mind and quality time.....
sorry guys, but after 5 months of non stop worrying about my car and working on it, I guess it has finnaly taken its toll on me....

Once you get the EMS/Hondata you wont have to worry about code 90 anymore.

Installing a camber kit absolutely wacks out your toe. You need to get your car aligned. I always just ghetto-align the car myself by visually setting toe and then driving the car/adjusting until I am happy with it.

Re: call me a whiner, but I need to rant...... (Arturbo)
does the EVAP only measure FUEL VAPOR ? I am concerned of actual LEAKS....
I have had this damn code since last year...and had try swapping evap valve and etc...still there....
I know I can get rid of it with EMS, but I am just concerned of an actual leaks, which can explain the fuel smell in my car and no pressure being relieve when I undo the gas cap... ( I have switched gas cap)

Dont be hobo Dustin you have a good job, spend the $35 to have your front toe set. But he is right, you probably have massive toe out now after installing the camber kit.

Re: call me a whiner, but I need to rant...... (Flamenco-NA)
yes you are DEFINATELY a whiner.
actaully stan everytime i hear someone is going to be doing serious work on a car, the first thing out of my mouth is "Get a cheap POS daily driver"
I got a 600$ toyota truck built a stock 22R and dropped it in. The truck runs really well and for next to nothing it will last forever and haul everything i can put in the back of it.
However dont be like me and find out that you can make tubular suspension arms get 18" of front end travel, spend 500$ per corner on shocks, etc etc.
my friend has a dodge diplomat, they kick ***
Take your time, do it right, and dont ever forget how important it is to live life. as ferris bueller put it "you better watch out or else you might just miss it" Life is so much more important than going fast in a honda, but you can have both

Stan, now you know why we like our race car. No check engine lights, it's supposed to smell like gas and drives and corners like hell.

Reliable daily driver. Say it with me "RELIABLE DAILY DRIVER" I got a flooded and blown 95 GSR 4 door for 2500 bucks and recently rebuilt it. Its awesome! But I still yearn for the day that I have twice the problems that you do with my Civic

fix the car properly. spend the money. you'll be surprised how soon you'll be screaming from the rooftops:
"I LOVE BOOST!"
BTW I have a Skunk2 Camberkit and my car steers all over the place BUT...My tires last longer. time to goto a alignment shop

Re: call me a whiner, but I need to rant...... (98hx99b18c)
Basically, a code 90, means that the ECU has tried to run the EVAP monitor and it failed. Why would it have failed? Well, the ECU cuts off 'vapor flow' to the canister. It then uses the gas tank pressure sensor to see if it holds a steady pressure. OBD-II dictated that a .040" hole be found by this test.
Thats basically why a lot of people ask "did you forget to tighten the gas cap"....an obvious >.040" hole I would say.
