Default C&R or PWR

Is there any real difference I will notice between the two? Does one cool a little better or lighter then the other. I see Earl is selling the PWR rad pretty dam cheap almost 100 bucks cheaper then the C&R. My rad is leaking so I need a new one. Just trying to figure out if there is a notable difference. Thanks

The c&r one i believe has an integrate fan. The pwr does not. For the price, i went with the integra style radiator for my hatch. The quality is the best i have seen hands down. I am buying another for my GF's hatch i like it so much.

Boosted question you said For the price, i went with the integra style radiator for my hatch. Do you mean the stock rad or you went with a C&R. I am a little confused.

I had a C&R in my last hatch and it worked real well. I used to drive around with stock radiator and fan and also had the a/c fan on a switch so in case I got in trouble the fan would help a little. well it didn't. the C&R made a huge difference as far as long drives are concerned also. I had an R tranny in my car so the revs were high at cruising speed(4500@80mph) and witht he stocker in place I would only be able to go like 25miles before the temp started to climb. I never saw a visual difference in the gauge when the stock fan comes on but once the SPAL fan comes on I could actually see the gauge drop. maybe thats because the stocker flowed 300 cfm's and the SPAL flowed 1000 cfm's of air.

All PWR radiators come with all the stock mounting brackets and holes in place. They are all drop in (no fabrication needed) and you can use your stock fan. PWR is coming out with a line of fans soon. However if you mount the half sized Civic radiator into your turbo'd teg, you will need to make a simple bracket to hold it in place.

They are both great peices. Both get the job done. Just pepends on which one you like more and a price issue.

On the PWR.. Those are made for the B's..
On a D motor, Can I use the D's hoses or the B-series hoses and larger hose clamps?

Thx

I beleive you cannot use the D series hoses, you must use the b series hoses and a larger hose clamp. good question tho

How many guys are running the civic sized C&R's or PWR rads in T'd Integra's? I was thinking of doing it to free up more room.
