Default A/c clearance

I have been thinking seriously about getting rid of my vortech sc for a turbo. I have picked out some basic parts but I need to know if it will clear my a/c and make the power that i crave (somewhere in the 350-400hp range and lots of torque) . The car is a 00 si b16a2 fal fan and all the stock accesories. The set up that I think that I want to use is an Inline pro mani and Gt30r. Please post pics if you have simular set up and tell me your hp range is. All input is apreciated. I am new to the custom turbo set ups, but I feel that I am ready to make it happen.

Glad you decided to get rid of the vortech....it's POS

Is your engine stock? I wouldn't go over 280 whp or so for daily driving if it is.

when I make the sc to turbo change I have Wiseco pistons , eagle rods , valves springs ect.... If it wasnt for that Then I wouldnt change The vortech has been good to me for 3 years. I could have put a payne 8 rib pulley set on it to make more. I just refuse to loose a/c.

There's no reason whatsoever to lose ac with a turbo set up... most people that don't have ac with their turbos remove it for weight savings or to clean up the engine bay, not because they must.

Full-race makes a nice a/c turbo kit.

With an Inline Pro manifold and a T3 5 bolt turbine housing you will have plenty of room for a 3" down pipe and AC.
You will also have room to run a fan , a full size radiater and even and intake ! ( Which seems most turbo people don't use anymore) and make your power goal with room to spare.

Thank you for all the positive responses! I knew it could be done. There is so many kits, well mani setups that wont work with ac I was kinda woried about the one I wanted(inline pro). Again thanks for the help in my quest to go very fast and not sweat in the hot summer.

Not trying to steal your post, but I dont wanna make a new thread on it... Ive been asking the sponsors in the forum marketplace if their turbo kits will fit a 92 cx hatch with a b18c and still retain the a/c... a lot of them tell me no... Do you guiys know of any premade kits that I can use and retain my a/c? I dont think I feel confident enough with building my own.

Not quite the same set up as to what you are asking but similar

Its a revhard manifold with a Precision sc61 with S housing.

I had to get a slim fan and make the condensor fan a pusher style. I had to use a slim fan on the radiator but its still mounted on the front
