Default bypass valve question

Hi,i know how to run a bov, but this is a bypass valve which require it to circulate back into the system. this valve came from a supra and im planning to use it on my budget turbo kit. its going on a civic and im just wondering which side goes to the charge pipe and i believe that i have the option of recirculating the release air into the system or not. if i do plan to run it back into the system, where do i run it to?

here are picture for reference to my question. feel free to modify it into a schematic of how to run it for easy viewing. thanks for reading my plead.

Vent it into the atmosphere. Since Hondas run a MAP sensor rather than a MAF system, recirculating is not necessary

Do you have some reason for wanting to do this?

unless your hell bent on your turbo being quite just run it vented to the atmosphere. it will be alot simpler and more enjoyable. that BOV doesnt need anything special, let er buck

think of it as a switch; your valve has an in and out on wither side, so the valve opens the same...

but normally it's bottom in, side out.

Have the boost pressure pushing on the typical poppett valve that is in there, and the other side to the sir.
