Ok so I think I found my problem with my car, I'm pretty sure my distributor is going bad so I've been looking around to buy a new one or a used one to replace mine...I found a good deal for a OEM Distributor setup for an external coil with a Crane Cams distributor cap w/MSD wires.....

My question is "Will it work fine if i just install everything except the external Coil?" since the deal doesn't come with a Blaster coil......

 

swap your stock coils back in if it got removed
reinstall factory wiring for coil
and use stock cap with internal coil and your good

 

Just to make sure.... So I buy the new distributor... take off the crane cams cap and use my original stock one with internal coil (basically swap the caps and everything inside) ?

My bad... I never done this before, i don't want to mess my sh*t up even more haha

 

yes

some ppl remove coil inside some ppl leave it there

when u remove the cap u will see 2 screws
and wire

get a helms and wire as it spose to be then put it back in

not hard at all i did it 3 times b/c i changed cars

my original install
removed to put on new car
and removed to sell
