Default over sized valves with turbo

I'm in the process of collecting parts to build my head for an h22. I plan on getting crower stage 2 turbo cams with all the other crower valve train parts. my question is about the oversized valves. what makes the difference between the sizes for power gain? When i did a search for it, people said that keeping it standard is the way to go. but in my mind i would think that it would have more flow. what would go good for a turbo set up? i plan on having a 9:1 compression if that makes a difference.
