Default built d16z6 swap help!!!!!!!!

Ok my car is a 1996 dx coupe with a non vtec wiring harness...

setup-
built d16z6
chipped p28 from phearable.net
obd2b to obd1 conv. harness..
obd1 dizzy
precision 780cc
walbro 255hp intank
skunk2 intake mani
t3 turbo 43ar
3 bar map

i had to cut my stock dizzy plug and wire it up to my new obd1 dizzy.... i start the car and its very hard to start sounds like its running very very rich... i hold the peddle floored (hasnt even left my driveway yet) and it wont go over 2k rpm's.... i have launch control but i believe its set at 5k.. my car sounds like it cammin but its not..... i have inline resisters for my injectors... it blows out white smoke out the exhaust... smells just like gas fumes... its not loosing any oil/coolent... so it has to be gas... i just ordered a dizzy jumper harness today.....

what do you think the problem could be??? could my dizzy wired wrong do that?? is the timeing off that bad and causing the fuel to go in on the downstroke and not the upstroke? also my vtec is not hooked up yet and many ppl told me that would not be a problem.... could it be a cheap ecu conversion harness i got off ebay???

i plugged in my old ecu... and it revvs up but still has the white smoke problem....???

open to any suggestions thanks matt

Most likely if the distributor was ever taken off, the igition timing is screwed up. You neeeeed a timing light.

2nd most likely is that your chip's fuel maps are terrible. As good as the phearable guy is at guessing (thats what he is doing, just in an educated way), he can't do it perfectly. You probably also have a crazy fuel pressure PSI.

In other words, you need someone to give you a basic tune, and sync the dizzy timing to your ignition map. Until that is done, any other problem will be hard to fix.

thanks..... like i said im just waiting for my dizzy conversion harness to come in..... any other suggestions??? would a bad tune cause my car not to rev above 2k or is that all in the ignition and timing...??? greg from auto works is the one who got my ecu for me...??? he is a great guy and always helps me out when i need it... he know his stuff...... he got the guys at phearable to tune it for me off a car just like mine thats on their dyno.... go to phearable.net and their video section... the d16z6 making 400hp on their dyno... im just thinking they went off his tune to tune mine...

im open to any suggestions..??

prob the way u wired up the dizzy...

but yah i had a basemap from xenocron on my ecu when i got it for y car and it wouldnt even run i had to make my own using crome good thing i bought the ostrich emulator back then

hey man... thanks for the post..... i pretty much have t he same set-up as you... ive watched all your vds on youtube a while ago... you got a hot ride...


how did you wire up your dizzy..? mine was originally a dx.. so i have a non vtec harness... i just ordered the dizzy jumper harness off rywire.... i couldnt use my obd2 dizzy on the z6 so i bought a new obd1 dizzy... and i have a vtec jumper harness on its way too... my car is very hard to start... i think its my timing... would bad timing cause it to like flood its self out cuz its getting way too much fuel... im not too familar with tuning so can the chip in my p28 be reburned by any tuner?? or do they have to burn a new chip and start from scratch.. i dont really know how that all works
