Default Built bottom to boost 12 psi?

I plan to boost 12 psi on my gsr with greddy kit. I'm wondering if I can get away with just purchasing a thicker head gasket and have my car tuned. Will my motor be reliable? I'm running 310s / vafc / 8:1 fmu / intank pump.

TUNING, TUNING, TUNING...

Do a search...somebody posted that a stock b16a bottom end ran a 10.33 on like 20 something psi of boost. Tuning is key.

Ditch the FMU get a hondata or aem, and you can safely run 12psi on a stock block....inline pro says with tuning you can run 20+psi of boost on stock b16a/gsr using their headgasket!! And they have the time slips to prove it.

Fuel is key.
