built boosted b16 @ 22psi = only 265whp?
soooo.... im very irritated after spending all this f&*king money and only gaining 30whp.
someone else with more knowledge help me clarifying this...
turbonetics 50 trim super V trim, stg 2 turbine wheel@ 22psi
test A: stock bottom end and top end. stock TB and IM.
@ 8.5psi = 236whp
THE BUILD
bottom end sleeved and built (eagle rods, 9:1 cp pistons, darton sleeves)
top end fully built (springs, retainers, valves, brian crower stg 2 cams, cam gears, etc)
skunk2 IM and TB
test B: @ 22psi = 265whp
a/f during boost 11.5-11.8
help me understand why i paid over 10 grand having this build done by a shop to only gain 30whp?

Give them the finger, I would be very mad as well If I were in your situation, Def. Take it back to the shop that built/put it together for you and keep us posted on the situation.
By the way, who tuned it if you mind me asking? Or what's the shops name?

Post more information about the rest of your setup, charge pipe diameter, down pipe and exhaust size, intercooler. Also, post a dyno chart!!

Honestly, I wouldn't try to be all fussy about it when going back to the shop. Gather some information, put a list of questions, right questions to ask when going there.
Patience is the key here. Just becuase you spent mucho mucho $$ on it, doesn't mean a thing. Secondly, you should be able to make over 300 @ 10psi easily with that turbo and motor setup. Question though: Why are you using such a small turbo on such a nice motor setup?
Please take the time to post your dyno chart(s) and I'm sure a number of people here is willing to chime in with helpful information.

haha. Classic. +1 on patience and having all your crap together before you go charging back in there. Kinda suprised they let you leave though.

Seriously though. If I were that shop and you charged back in f-ing this and f-ing that, asking silly questions without factual information, I'd tell you to GTFO and come back when you have your 4-yr old temper under control.
Have you looked at your build-sheet aka "motor blueprint"? Most engine builders who do things properly will document each nut and bolt torque and bearing clearance, not only for your reference, but for their own assurance. This will at least give you an idea if your motor was built improperly (highly doubtful becuase if something was loose, @22psi something would have happened already..shhBANG!).
One more thing, list your other stuff.. injectors, EMS, fuel pump, etc...

Check to see if your flex in the DP is collapsed, also can you post some screen shots of the timing tables?
What is the purpose of all that motor attaced to that little turbo? Road Course?

I dont know the specs on those cams, but I would imagine they are a horrible for your setup. Do you have a set of GSR or ITR Cams you could use?
