Default Building for turbo

How necessary is it to build the head for a turbo application? I have a h23a1, the block is pretty old, about 180k miles but the head is fairly new, like 20k miles. If i were to build the bottom end with pistons, rods, bearings, all new gaskets, sleeves and maybe have the crank micro-polished would i be in good shape to put 8lbs of boost on it? Gonna be a street car daily driver, just wanna be able to drive it without worrying about blowing the motor up every time i decide to drive with a little "spirit"

will when your talking about boost....i would say that u should focus more on the bottom end....low compression piston, rods ect....when boosted you want your block to hold up to the power....stock head should be fine...but it is always good to have some work done to your head also....my brother has as a b16a3, stock head but his bottom end is fully built not sleeved and he's boosting a gt30 18psi which makes 425whp.....
