Building boost at launch??

Very interesting.......my aem unit can build boost utilizing the built in two step while the car is in a resting position and people have built 1+ bar from a stop. The anti-lag function is VERY different.

My understanding was a two step (usually for drag racing) was for building boost from a standstill and anti-lag (usually for rally cars and auto-x) was for maintaining boost in between shifting and @ partial throttle. These two things are a bit different.......


To the OP: A quick use of the search button will yeild a lot of results. It would be a good idea to give it a shot next time before creating a thread. This topic has been covered quite a bit.

i did search before i made a new thread..but never really found what i was looking for,,but anyways..you can never realy have enough threads with usefull and first hand info and experiences

We skipped the anti-lag and went with just a two-step limiter set at 6k while tuning today, and it makes 3 psi at a stand still with no load. That should be enough for me.
