Default Broken Spark Plug! To Hone or not to Hone?

Spark plug broke in newly installed sleeves. Piston took a little damage but nothing serious like the cylinder wall in #1. Do i hone or re-bore and replace my new 84mm pistons to 84.5.

I already took a ball hone to it but did nothing really.

Hard to tell how deep those scratches are; can you catch a finger nail on them?

If you can feel the scratches with your finger nail AT ALL, you will need to bore... I had to do the same thing with my 84mm build. My (used)sleeved block turned out to be out of round at 84mm and had to bore over to 84.5. had to suck up the restocking fee for the pistons($70) and order a new HG also($100). Turned out to be a costly mistake for me. Now I know not to order parts until the machine shop gives you the go-ahead.

With that said. Check with your machinist to get a final answer.
