Broken sleeves, what companies will sleeve it? 56k warn
Here is a pic of my b18c5, a bug section of the allumiun and iron sleeve was ripped out. What companies are available that will sleeve this block for me? I was hoping to go Benson but I dont think I can due to the fact he used part of the original alluminum sleeve. Thanks!

God DAMN!
I'd keep that in my living room as a beer-holder - that's about the only purpose it'll serve for the rest of time.

I bought the block like this. It was a 3rd to second misshift. Can you give me more info on Darton and AEBS sleeves? As where I can info on how much, how they do it, and their customer experiences.

Re: (redturbocivic)
That block is one big door stop. No sleeving company can sleeve it because they all keep a portion of the aluminum outer part for support of the new ductile iron sleeves that go in. Sorry
C5 and C1 blocks are identicle. If you go with the LS block for replacement you will lose your girdle and oil squirters.

You dont normaly keep oil squirters if you go forged though.. but yes, that block looks to be unsleevable. do some research on how they sleeve blocks and you will better understand it.
