break in oil ???
i am getting ready too do the start-up on a complete rebuild, my concern is what oil to use for the break-in ?? it is a dart block with CP pistons and there matching rings with a sc61 turbo, i need the rings to seat but do not want to harm the turbo ??? this may be a dumb question but i need your suggestions ???

not exactly. you want to use a non-sythetic NON DETERGENT straight 30wt oil. you can get it anywhere for like $0.75 each... just get the generic brand.

I use Non detergent on the first start up, then flush it once its fully warmed. I wouldnt never drive around on ND30 oil that **** turns into water once its heated up. After I flush I run non synthetic 10w30.
