Default break in injector ?

hey i just rebuilt my lsvtec I got block honed and resurfaced, new rings, and bearings my question is im running 680cc injectors with a resistor box I plan on letting the car idle through a few heat cycles then driving it straight to my tuner but my tuner is about 40 miles away from where I am at so I just seeing if running those injectors at first start up would be ok??? i dont want to flush the rings. Thanks

It's not ok.

I'd put the stock injectors back and run a GSR basemap atleast..

edit: Oh, it's boosted, lol.

Then NO, it's not ok anyway. get at least a partial tune with safe AFR's and timing for cruising 40 miles

rpm isn't as important as load...low rpm with higher load is one of the most dangerous conditions for an untuned motor.

not to mention, load or not, your motor is not going to run on 680s without fuel adjustments. as stated, at least get a basemap to drive on to go to your tuner.

Stock injectors stock ecu stay out of boost, remove bov if you have to to vent any possible boost build up. the motor needs to be broken in by varying rpm and load to seat the rings properly. not doing this will cause ring issues and ANY basemap is going to cause more than lilely to rich of a condition and rings will not seat properly
