Default brake woes .

ok this is what i got on my turbo hatch, some big brake kit with willwood calipers and corssdrilled rotors, stock drums on the rear. changed the master cylinder and booster to gsr ones. this is the weird thing i f i flip the check valve one way then no problem brake pedal is solid. however if i put check valve in normal position the pedal is really spongy feeling almost no pressure. i've changed the master cylinder but no dice same stuff. heres the catch when i was bleeding there was no way i could get all the air out of the brake line. it just kept on coming.
my question is that could it be possible that where i did not flare the brake tube going to the master cyclinder would it cause a air leak even though the bolt is tightly securing the flare in place.
or should try another master cylinder.
thanks
