BOV vs BPV
what is the reason for using a bov rather then a bpv? is it because its able to bleed more air faster and to not recirculate the all ready hot air? what about when a MAS is used? Ive seen so many cars run super rich during a shift so what then?

Re: BOV vs BPV (hks85)
Most of the MAS users over here recirculate the BOV. Does BPV = bypass valve? If so BPV's are used to prevent over boosting while BOV's are used to prevent surge during shifts.
Recirculation can actually help with the spoolup on some setups.

ohhh, i thought bypass valve was a different name for a recirculating BOV. so if the car has a MAS Recirculation is the way to go? what if the car is making big HP numbers? does the same thing apply?
