I agree, Tial FTW </TD></TR></TABLE>

Its all preference, A BOV is a BOV. They all release pressure.

Yes but some release the pressure faster, and more efficently, at the moment, Tial has the largest opening offered for any BOV on the market! 50.8MM, plus this allows for higher HP, with out upgrading right away to a larger spring........

I have the hks SSQV in my civic and my cousin has the Xs H-rfl in his teg. The teg is only boosting 8 psi compared to my 11 psi and it is definately alot louder than mine. Its a sharp crack too. Even when fluttering its still very loud. Personal preference i guess though.

Check out this one from GFB. Pricy, but works great. There are sound clips there as well. I have the stealth hybrid on my STi and it works perfectly.

lol thats kinda ricey, but at the same time pretty nifty but for 700, it could be better spent elsewhere..

i wont buy anything that is a knockoff or cheap part...cause when it comes to the motor i am sorry but u pay for what you get...now some interior pieces like shift *****, shift boots, and all that its alright to go knockoffs but not on the motor. no matter how small it may be

I got rid of my greddy knock off(never gave it a chance, after seeing how many complaints/problems there were) and picked up a vortech. I'll let you know how it sounds.

I have the HKS SSQV BOV. Very loud at boost above 4-5psi. At very low boost levels, you'll hear compressor surge, which sucks. You don't want that. Don't sacrafice quality for sound.

I'm waiting for the Synapse BOV. There's a video of it roaming around this forum. Do a search for it. No compressor surge at low boost levels, and the sound is just right. If you still need the loud sound, the HKS BOV is for you.
