Default BOV question.....

I have searched many times and read alot of **** but i still cant figure out which BOV would be best for my car. i see alot of ppl go with HKS, Greddy, or Tial....and there really isn't much difference from what i see so which should u go with if ur goin for 300 to 370hp range? does it matter?

well the hks has a very specific flange design. with a greddy the flange is similar to a vortech, blitz, and a few others so if you ever got bored with the sound you could just swap another BOV on with only a slight mod to the flange(slotting it). where as with the HKS you'd have to re wel a new flange. Both sound nice IMO...I happen to like the blitz bov most.

x3 on that...

as long as you go with a quality brand (tial, blitz, greddy, turbo xs, hks, etc...) you won't, or shouldn't, have any issues at all with it at all.
now if you buy a pos knock off...you may have some issues.

nothing on my car will be a pos knock off....cause nothing can be as good as the real thing. but thanks to all ur opinions i may go back and listen to some of those Tial BOV sound clips to see if i can see why you all love it so much. But right now its between greddy and hks thanks

honestly, the rfl is not that good of a blow off valve. If your going for loud and the sweetest sounding one, then yeah, the rfl is what you want. I mean rfl does stand for REAL ******* LOUD! lol. But the hks or tial or greddy are better. I also heard the rfl is bad for gas mileage. Then again matters if you wanna go threw more work to make the hks fit. what flange do you have?

lol well i dont have flanges yet all my intercooler piping is custom bent and made by a local shop. so i am gonna get the flange and get them to weld it on for me. but i aint going for the loudest but i do want a sweet sounding bov cause it will stand out more.

Its a round flange, that uses a circle clip, it is different then all the others. I like it.

The BOV or the flange, I got the BOV from XENOCRON in a trade, but you can get them anywhere online for about $200.
But what sucks is that you pay $200 for this thing and it does not come with a flange.
