BOV question
Is there any way to test a BOV for how much psi it will hold? My buddy had a place do some work to his boosted b16 crx and they took his BOV off b/c they said it wasn't good enough.
Its a super expensive HKS (few years old) and worked fine when he was boostin 15 psi on a T3. He's now boostin up to 25psi on a t3/t4 without a BOV and wants to put one on, but not waste his time with the one he has if its no going to be good enough.
Thanks in advance.

Re: (IslandSi)
ya, can u say don't take your car to splitfire in brampton, ontario, canada. They took off his expensive HKS bov. And they only got 310whp and a 25whp dip at vtec (5000rpms....i think...or 5200rpms). I asked him (paul, the guy who tuned it) if he did any partial throttle tuning and his response wasn't that re-assuring. He did a pull on the dyno with us there and i was watching the afr on the computer (low 12's to high 11's) so it was safe. The engine's built so it can take the boost that the T4 can put out (its a T4 not t3/t4 like i said before), don't know the specs but its pretty big.
Anywho, gettin off track. I'm tellin him that he should just put it on (the one he has) and see if it leaks...is there any way we can test the bov beforehand?
