BOV? which one to get.

Default BOV? which one to get.

im ordering a GReddy kit for my 95 Ls. i was looking into IC's and a charge pipe. i was what would be a better bov to get? a HKS ss or a greddy type s? need some help deciding before i put the cash down. thanx for the input.

if those are your two options...type s. try to find the sport compact car that has "crazy boost" on the cover. they do a bov test in there. hks was the worst performer.

just get the dsm 1st gen and save yourself about 150 bucks. if you are only choosing between those 2 i would say its a toss up. ive had no problems with either one

Yup...I like the "true good functionality" of my TiAL!! Best BOV on the market (IMHO) for the money and theres a sale on them for like 205 on here!!

i have the HKS on my 99 ls turbo greddy kit and havent had any proplems with it but if you can i would highly reccomend a Tial because you can get them for around what the HKS and Type S cost

I've always liked Greddy. Works well, and a Greddy kit with a Greddy blow off valve makes for a good combo.

what makes the tial so great? And why did the HKS not perform? Don't they all do the same thing...just have diff sounds...

HKS had the most amount of surge compared to the rest. Basically it took the longest to vent the air. Could have been too tight though
