im looking at getting a greddy bov but which greddy bov is the best??? type-s? type r?? type rs???

There are a lot of threads on this. Just shell out the xtra $50 or so and get a 50mm tial and be done with it. Quality bov and when you get on it it cant even be heard over the roar of you engine. At least not in my car..............

Depends on what spring you have in it

If you have the right spring for your setup then you will be good to go

It should be said that it takes a fair amount of vaccum to open, even then though it is spring dependent.

 

i cut a couple coils off my spring so it opens a little in vacuum at idle..

 

depends on if you want loud bov or quality brand.. i say it a personal choice.. im using rfl and like it

tial is taking over who can deny their quality i will take quality over loudness anyday

 

i've had a Tial and an RFL....although i liked the ricey-ness of the RFL because everyone knows you're boosted, i now have the Tial and like it a lot more.....plus i get less compressor surge...

 

anyone ever run the knockoff version of tial?

 

I hear they work well. I run a tial, and love it. I would buy an authentic tial, because I'm loyal to the brand

tial is my fav too, clean sound, good all around bov, but if its not a super nice setup then i say dsm all the way

 

TIAL ftw, i had a friend have a bad experience with the fake tial, so i would just get the real one.

 

anyone got some sound clips of some other bovs? I like the tial

 

fake ones cost almost as much as the real ones used

tial soudns best imo. it makes a loud whipping whoosh sound no other bov sounds like a tial
