BOV not going off.....
Alright. I've got a Greddy Type R bov.
For some reason or another its not going off anymore when I go in boost or at any other time. Its got the soften/harden **** that I can twist to adjust (its pretty soft right now), should I tighten it or is that something that wouldn't cause this. Or should I check my vacuum line or something (The line that I ran to the bov is made of different material then the other lines I ran (I actually used vacuum line for those,)...I ran short so I used some **** I had in the garage from home depot, the sidewalls aren't that great so maybe I should just change that out? I just need to know what I should do to narrow down the problem. Im going to fix it tomorrow because I need a BOV
.....you can't go without that sound.

Would this have any reason to do with why Im only reading 6psi on my boost gauge and I have a .5 bar spring. Which is I believe 7.25psi. Unless I got a different spring in there...
Ill change out that line today and go from there. Ill tighten it up a bit too.

Pat get a new line for sure, but does the Bov have a good source of vacuum? When you dont have a Vacuum block, you generally have about 3-4 different things running into only one Vacuum source (FPR), so sometimes things arent getting enough vacuum.
I had this problem before I got my vacuum block, the boost gauge doesnt need as much to operate correctly as lets say Bov or the wastegate, so make sure these to things are first in line. My Type S fluttered a bit, when I installed mine, all I did was switch it with the boost gauge, and it fixed the problem.
You might want to invest in a vacuum manifold, theres simple, effective, and they really clean up the bay from messy vacuum lines

Yep, vacuum manifolds are the way to go...you can get them for under $20 from McMaster, and fittings are cheap too.
