you can use any line on the intake manifold. You can get a vac. manifold from golden eagle or the like if you wish.

I running the greddy kit internal wg at 8psi. The normal HKS sound a high pitch woosh at heavier throttle and at light throttle a flutter. Except now Im getting a bubbley flutter sound at light throttle 1000rpm to 3000rpm. Its sounds so gay..................

My turbo XS RFL BOV flutters if I am at partial throttle and let off the gas slowly...

But if I let off the gas quickly the sound is really crisp...

Is the BOV fluttering when you let off the gas quickly and from WOT? If so, then I think there is a problem, maybe you are hearing compressor surge?

i think it might be normal for bov's to flutter at lower boost levels, becuase part of how the bov works is the boost pressure itself pushing the valve open.... mine sounds like aflutter or a purr or some goofy bird ot low boost but at 16 psi it sound like a normal bov

WOT=Wide open throttle. and compressor surge is when the air is going out the intake side of the turbo (backing up) It is fixable but You have to make sure you have a good vaccume source.

Thanks for the insight. Umm if I am getting compressor surge check to see if the intake pipe has some sort of restriction, and try find another vacuum source for BOV? Right now its running from the back of the iintake manifold. That should be sufficient enough right?

I think if you hook it up to the wrong vac fitting on the BOV itself (there are two on the Greddy S, one is for a recirculation something or another) it will flutter and sound like ****.
