You CAN use it, but you're going to have a terrible powerband. I hope that you dont plan to ever drive it on the street...

I think he means it's not going to make boost until quite high in RPM range. If you aren't able to rev to the moon you won't have a very long band of power before you have to shift and start waiting for boost to build again. . . That's why the suggestions have been for you to get a different turbo.
what if i use a bit of nitrous to get her spoolin i am not going to go with the pistons i was going to go with. what is a good choice of pistons? i will build the head up so i can rev to the moon. i want to make this work.
Ok...if this is even the smallest S300 offered currently (S362), you're still looking at a 600whp turbo. Your Vitara D is good for ~400whp. If you want a crappy powerband, go for it, but the results are going to be less than amazing. Nobody has said that you can't use it, but it is FAR from your best option.
BTW I dont see the point of asking this question if you're not going to listen to any of the advice...

i may be crazy but i am going to use this turbo stil but i have a back up a garrett so i am good. what model is it. on the engine it came off it makes full boost at 1800 rpm and it is a 500hp engine.

is this build going to be on e85 or racegas? if not. i dont think this will not work.
u need sleeves, forged pistons, good rods, great head work.
and boost it around 30-35psi so u can make around 500-600.
gt35 on single cams gets 1 bar at 6t already. and limiter is around 8t. i hope u understand this.

No your not crazy if you use that turbo, stupid is a better word to describe you. Your willing to spend more money to help the turbo spool but in reality it would be cheaper for you to buy the proper turbo to begin with. That turbo might start spooling by 6,000+ RPM and by the time that starts to happen its time to shift and the car will fall on its face.
allrite tommarow i will get a garrett there is a tone of good turbos liying aroung the shop and i am good friends with my boss so i get them for free hehehe thanks for helping me not waste my time on this thing. and i am doing masive head work i gat a crower stage 2 cam and i am going with forged pistons. hey? i want to do 400-500hp i was going to get the block sleeved if i use this smaller turbo shuld i?
i know what turbo that is ive run it on my car it will spool realy late on your motor but it will make good power it will spool a tinny bit faster than a garret 4088bb
