Default boosting.....sorta

This isnt really hodna related , its dsm related, But it thought Id give it a shot, because a turbod car is a turbod car regardless make. when I drive my car and get on it, the boost gage sweeps to 15 but the car sure as hell doesnt feel like 15, like it hti a wall or something and Im going n/a. but then again after some time when I step on it it pullslike a bat out of hell. Any help appreciated. Its not the knock sensor, i've checked that. I doubt it could be my ssq. I've checked the intercooler/charge piping. Thanks.

Hey,

Are you sure you aren't pulling timing like crazy for some reason?

It could be boostcut, since you are at 15 psi, thats usually when it occurs from what I have read..

Thats what I would think it is... b/c you said it happens sometimes and doesnt other times..

well I have a chipped ecu, so I have no fuel cut no nothing like that, redline is 8500 fyi :D. See, dsms have a knock sensor which woudl cause to pull timing (due to excessive knock) if there is no voltage coming from it or it went bad. WHen it goes bad it usually oozes some sort of liquidy substance out, and mine hasmnt, What I have to really do is plug in a logger, which is a palm pilot wiuth a cable that hooks up to my diagnostic port, through this there is a program for the palm pilot called mmcd which displays alot of functions of the car, like timing advance, knock fuel trims etc.. I just wanted to see if I could get any hardcore answers on here as well, Its always best to ask.
