Default boosting nonvtec?

im sure this is a very vague question but, which would be best to boost on? a fully built B20 or a fully built b18 both would have stock cranks and all other parts would be similar. Turbo would probably be a t3/t4e boosted to around 15lbs. motor would be used in an 86 prelude. im just trying to see how much of a difference those .2 liters make. thanks

PRI currently makes a mount kit for the b18s and b20s that allow it to be swapped into the old ludes and accords (BIM07AG) so gettin it in is no problem. for wiring all i need is an LS harness. as for cutting i can asure there will be some. the whole point of the project is to do something that i havent even seen before. besides i can buy this lude for about $100 or so. but im up for the challenge.

Now back to may original question. figuring that compression, boost and all the other variables are the same how much of a difference will 200cc's make? and lastly would there be any reliability issues between the 2? im planning to tune it with a hondata s200 just in case you care. thanks

i wasn't aware they had a kit for that... but what about axels?

anyhoo... i'd go with the LS. the b20's sleeves aren't the best IMO

He said the motors would be fully built, so that would include gettin sleeved.

if its gonna be sleeved then either would be good, cause you can bore the **** out of a sleeved block if you feel like it, in stock form however i would go with the b18 cause of the reputation of boosted b20's, its not actually the sleeves that make the b20 weak cause there actually thicker than b18's, its the heavier side walls on the pistons that cause the pressure load to be increased and cause failure, but if your gonna fully build either block with aftermarket sleeves and internals, either one would be a nasty beast......
